What kind of douchery are we going to see out of Kesler tonight?

Anyone still wonder why Pronger stomped on his leg?

Just a look at coaching and players. Nucks have gone through 2 coaches last 4 years. But players have changed. Looking at who we got who should the new coach choose for more change? I'll leave the goalies out. It's easy there Miller & Marky or backup.

Safest 7: Bo, Sedins, LE, Sutter, Sven, Granlund

Top D: Edler, Tanev, Guddy, Hutton, Sbisa

Of the above 11 players 4 guys are young with Guddy sort of too. The rest are in prime or older vets. Barring trades they are all in. So here are the choices below.

Rookies: Tree, Stecher, Guance, Boucher, Cram and maybe Rodin

Prospects: BB, Goldy, JV, Molino, OJ, Dahlen, Labate, McEwen, Suban/Pedan.

Extras: DD, Biega, Skille, Shore, Megna and Chaput - not young but hard working

What players to add to the roster to develop? Is it better to keep all the prospects and rookies with the Comets to start? At least the exempt from waiver ones?

I fell sorry for you guys tonight if Garrett is your colour man tonight.

Go flames go

- Makita

I commented in the flames thread how Garrett probably has playoff games in his contract that he has to do in the next few seasons

Excuse me, reread the post!! This is what I think...Absolutes are things that are complete and pure, something that isn't part of or mixed into anything else in any way.

People have opinions and if they wish to say "No coach can" that is their opinion, the same as you state "Willie is a terrible coach" your opinion, neither are speaking in absolutes.

- Makita

makita "absolutes" in languages IS a limiting statement. That is fact. Take it what you will, if you want to look at it otherwise thats up to you but for the record when I use that term in the future its the classical and official meaning.

For the record, is that official as sanctioned by Oxford or Merriam-Webster?

I think we can all agree we need this on file.

Gulutzan has the Flames playing a nice brand of hockey. Hope they beat Ducks.

Where is that Wiener Walshy? I seen him around quite a bit when they were winning.

I always liked him. Wish he had a bigger role when he was here.
As i said when he was lured to the flames, he will have the team going in the right direction.

I think we only pick d if we drop all the way to 5. JB wanted a center last year (Dubois) I see him taking one this year as there are so many.
Hirshier
Patrick
Vilardi
Necas (he's playing really well, Nucker brought him to my attention)
Middlestadt

I think there's an outside chance JB picks liljgren, just unlikely IMO

That's pretty much what I'm thinking too.

Felt like Anderson played as good as he is going too. Still wasn't enough. Even with the jump and esrly goals.

Took himself out of the playoff clincher, choked on the game tying goal,,, waffled on the game winner in overtime. I think Anderson has a problem with pressure at the highest level actually. Not going to end well for the Leafs.

They lost in OT on a goal Anderson should have had

I still say the caps will win but now I think the leafs have a chance

It's not like I'm picking the leafs to win the series ...Anderson has played better in the past so it's possible he can do it again
