Granted, I don't watch every Rangers game but I wouldn't have guessed that. |

Mason has historically been near the top of the league in Low Danger Save Percentage. It jives with his theory of enjoying shot volume and preferring the defense to not try to block the shots, but it is important to note the stat is based off of where the shot comes from.
Not completely related, but I don't know if it was said enough this year. Mason was fantastic in shootouts/breakaways. It wasn't something we were used to seeing. Normally not a strong part of his game |

Kind of why I said what I did about eye test. I would have thought Mase would be down about 4th of those names considering the amount of "WTF were you doing Mason?" I heard at games and read on postgame reactions. |

I was thinking Lappy and Mullen needed to go. PK sucked and PP was stagnant and easy to defend. |

Which is basically my entire point. 2 shots define what is actually a pretty great Flyers career (for a large group of people) |

Wow. So toeing the company line and carrying the warrior flag still really gets you a long way in the organization. Behind the times. |

Skip is working from a base. He's like Gallagher. He doesn't just come out and hit a watermelon with a hammer, he builds to it. |

I could have seen both too.
Just because maybe they could use some new eyes and some new ideas for the PP and PK> |

1 shot, fairly or not, defines a certain goalie to me. Not his split shutout against Boston, not 3 shutouts in the ECF. 1 shot.
But I agree in general. |

Doesn't define him for me, I was just surprised to see that he had better stats this year than Lundqvist for LD situations. |
