Me too. Ideally they sign a #1 goaltender for 2-3 years and a true #1 LW

I see bishop as a fit if neuvirth gets taken. Pay the guy whatever he wants for 3 years

Bishop/stolarz taking up 8 mil of cap space...don't see a problem here

You can tell on here who listens to that podcast. I was reading things here yesterday that were just regurgitations of the things they were talking about on BSH radio on Monday.

Maybe Vegas will sign Mason and we'll be off the hook.

They'll take two NHL goalies and one of them won't be Neuvirth. I wouldn't be surprised if they signed Bishop during their advanced FA period. He could anchor that team through it's infancy.

That is if Bishop is all about money and doesn't care about winning too much.

Notice a pattern here? Players saying they weren't 100% after coming back from an injury. What is going on here?

Players need to step up and be fully communicative about their bodies. It's a new age in sports science and these things shouldn't be downplayed.

And if they are fully communicative and management is leaning on these guys to come back sooner than they should, absolutely shame on them. Old way of thinking that has been too prevalent in this organization for a long time. Like I just said, it's a new age in sports science and how injuries affect athletes and their performance as well as how these things are dealt with.

It seems like whenever a Flyer gets injured their timetable for return is shortened. Hextall also keeps a tight lid on injuries so obviously we can only speculate. But where there is smoke there's fire and I don't like this organizations attitudes regarding injuries. They need to get with the program here like other organizations have or they are in danger of falling behind the times in yet another category.

There is still a bit of an "old school" mentality with this organization for sure. Its not as bad as when Lindros was here though. That mentality destroyed his career in my opinion.

Times are changing, Hexy is leading that charge. We see it all the time in the way they are drafting and developing.....but yes, they still have a ways to go.
