To summarize my feelings.....

I'm ok with Weight, as long as they get a smarter PP coach than the last one.

I understand now why Snow hides from the media. When he opens his mouth, he can't get his foot out of it.

I'm rooting for the Habs who are losing to the Rags, and the Blue Jackets who are losing to the Penguins. I just can't win at hockey. I may be forced to switch to baseball buzz. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz..........

I don't think it makes sense. The NVMC was ok in 1972 when it was built, but it's just too small by today's standards. Modern arenas seat close to 20,000, and have sufficient room in the surrounding rotundas, to say nothing of the bathrooms. If they want to the Isles to return, they need to tear the place down and start over with a bigger shell to accommodate the increased seating capacity, etc.

Plus, the lack of mass transit to the site is always going to be a problem. At least, Belmont has a train station. Uniondale has nothing other than a bus that occasionally runs along Hempstead Tpke.

To be honest I don't think Nassau County wants to cause both facilities The refurbished NVMC and The proposed New Arena in Belmont to basically battle each other anb neither survive.
That would be the worst outcome as you would have 2 Arenas struggling which isn't a good scenerio. That said this is Nassau county we are talking about so.....

So for me, if they don't let the Belmont Arena come to fruition then my vote would be to have them move to the NVMC and get the phuck out of BC because it's not working as far as the fan experience, the poor ice, etc.

Nassau needs the Isles for whatever they did to the new Coli to work. I think Belmont is going to happen and Nassau deserves for the new Coli to fail.
