I agree with you...just pointing out what the net/net of this season is revealing about the team going forward.
UNLESS GMTM goes crazy as I posted in previous blogs about the amount of work he needs to get done to position the team for playoffs ... or kiss it goodbye for another lost season.

Those who say the team is fine, and the rebuild is working are kidding themselves.
They have problems, both positionally and the fortitude of the players in the system.
they need a massive culture overhaul.

Outside of Eichel - I'm open to listen to whatever offers are made to get this team better

So not to sound completely insensitive, as I'm sure we all wish a healthy recovery for Okposo irregardless of the outcome to his professional career, but if his illness is indeed life threatening or life altering and forces him to step away from the game, how does that affect cap numbers and roster spots?

Basically you are just drafting your whole team you get to pick any player from the teams that are in the playoffs when it's your pick

It's like a regular NHL draft but you're picking your own team

And it's based on stats ( Power Play Goals, power play assist, game winning goals, regular goals, regular assist) those are each one point each If your player gets it during the game

The goalie points are based on wins 2 points ( so you have to pick a goalie that you think is going to win a lot)

So the goal is to get players that are going to get points ..

D- You draft 3 defenseman
D/F-You draft 2 defenseman or forward
G - one goalie

The only thing this team did right was lose the last two games of the year.

The time to do it was after they got back from Florida last night. I have a hard time believing they make him do a press conference if he was getting canned. That'll have to wait until 15 games into next year when we're 6-7-2 and already out of it
