I think they have to think about it. They won't be competing for awhile unless they have a major turn around like the Leafs this year

Imo, there will be more sellers than buyers with the expansion draft
The Jets are one of those teams that are in a pickle

These teams will obviously want back assets they don't have to protect

Pretty sure Guhle is not going to get moved
And you've mentioned that GMTM has said no about Bailey repeatedly

Ullmark, Fasching & Baptiste seem like obvious trade pieces that could interest another team
Nylander too, but I'd assume Murray wants to keep him if possible

I'm hoping he can pull off a couple deals

That's a tough price. Is it this years first?

I'm normally pretty well versed on the good draft prospects...
but I haven't devoted much time to it this season

U can search YouTube for footage of them playing & google scouting reports on just about anyone though
To my understanding,
There are a handful (5-6) of defensemen that will be drafted in the 1st round that have nice upside
But none of them will be ready to help us next year
Probably not even in the year after that
