If they continue to rush it. The way I see it is they need a couple more years of stockpiling high end talent. Sad to say but the best way to do that is the draft, and free agency. Not much left to trade.

They'll show up if the team is good. They've got a bigger problem with that than bylsma imo(and that's how I interpreted the Friedman quote). If it's not better by late November then he goes. Gm is responsible for the personnel and tire fire defence

Dumb. You under value Sekeras on the second pair and all of Benning, Nurse and Russel are solid 3rd pair, passable 2nd pairing D. Do some research before chirping, Jabroni. They could use another rock solid RHD on the second unit, but what they have has been good enough for a 100 point team.
