Not to my usual diligence, but I've been watching some 67's and Olympiques games (10 67's and 14 Olympiques) this year. Plus some Steelheads games before January.

Should be some ok defensemen there, lot's of forwards at the top. Which is good for the Leafs. Look for Eric Brannstrom to be a huge riser from Sweden. Kid is sick in the offensive zone and plays above his weight and height on the defensive end.

Ya it will take years! They'll have to go full tank next year to get a franchise player,no way they get past Edmonton with mcdavid ! If not probably 4-7 years! ....maybe?

Ya I guess they go with the best player available, but this draft you would have to think that they focus on defence and goaltending?

Leafs have ability and bank account to move up this year if they have to. A big body d-man with a shot will be a priority. I know it turned Lou and Brendan's stomach to see teams take liberties with Leafs this year.

Hague would be an interesting pick. The current management group has showed patience not exhibited by previous regimes. Marner and Nylander were ready, I think back the way they rushed players especailly d-men in the past.

Suzuki family has to be super happy. Nicholas is probably going to sneak into the top-10 of this draft maybe top-5 as he just got better and better all year. Then his brother goes first overall in the OHL draft and is considered a Taylor Hall level talent. Not (frank)ing bad.
