i do wonder if they have that top flight forward that just seems necessary these days. but yeah, the tending cant get much worse. although i'm of the belief that average to decent goalie play is the easiest thing to find of the formula. agreed though, some great young pieces for sure.

What I am saying is the Flyers viewed Laughton as the best on their board and took a shot on him. It didn't work out and that's unfortunate. Darn.

I think writing him off is premature. If he's a top end third liner that plays hard minutes and PK and tosses in some offense, I'll take it. We all had hopes that he could be top six but most scouting reports had him as topping out as a third liner.
From all accounts, he's been playing really well. Has 17 goals with very little PP time.

They do have a window to talk to impending FAs. And I believe whoever they sign counts as a player taken for the expansion draft.
