If he fights he will be better than Morin - YuenglingJagr
LOL
I have stayed away from the boards down the stretch, knowing the takes would be hot like fire. I didn't even pretend to want to see |

I don't see how picking in the top 12 or so of the first round is an awful 1st round pick position. - MJL
If you miss the playoffs 15th is the worst spot to be in.So 13th isn't that great either. |

So. Relatively safe to assume Schultz is done.
So that means Gudas, MacDonald, Ghost, Provorov are givens. Manning if he isn't claimed (which I doubt) could be, as well.
With Manning, that's five of seven. I doubt they're bringing back MDZ. They wouldn't go with two more youngsters to go with Ghost and Provorov, would they?
Feels like they might need another veteran, which means FA or trade |

Actually, I think it's time for youth. They may sign a journeyman just to provide some competition but I think the last 2 spots are Morin's and Hagg's to lose. |

I believe the thought process is that Manning is the 7th. Morin for physicality and Hagg as a stay at home D-Man, will be given the first crack at the lineup. However, I have a feeling Myers will be given every opportunity to jump in if he can handle it. He has already proven a lot at the CHL level, injuries aside.

For the forwards...even more interesting than the defense.
1LW-Giroux-Voracek
2LW-Couturier-Schenn
3LW-Filppula-Simmonds
Bellemare-4C-4RW
Don't lose your minds, anyone -- I realize that Raffl, TK, Weise, Read, Weal, Vecchione and Cousins are all potentially going to fill any number of the spots, but I simply don't have a feel for who LV might take, if anyone, from among Raffl, Weise, Cousins or Laughton, and I don't know which line Hakstol feels most comfortable with TK.
There really isn't much in FA. The problem is that if you want to tell yourself that you're getting better, then the hope is that TK improves simply due to youth and gained experience, and there is that hope that possibly Weal and Cousins have a little upside left, but is that enough?
Man. So hard to get to that next level |

Hagg looks solid. Is Vecchione playing? Didn't hear his name at all that period. |

Had a couple nice chances on net and some solid defensive breakups in his own zone. If he plays the following two periods like he played the first I'll be very pleased. |

Poor outlook. It's a great pick and a possibility of getting a very good player. |

They're young but Hagg has 3 pro seasons under his belt and Morin 2. It's time. |

I do like how Hagg skates. Yeah, this game is loose and not indicative of what the real season is like, but that kind of skating/fluidity is such an asset |
