If he doesn't sign that he doesn't want to be here then that's easy money that's like winning the lottery

If he has to be in the lineup Sunday, then the next questions is can we actually call him up? We have used our last call up (Nylander), is a college call up different?

It's not a call up.

He would be assigned to the Sabres and not Rochester

This just sounds like a whole lot of speculation I'll wait till a real report comes out

Edit : wow that is a real report an ESPN has it before any Buffalo media what the hell

I've also heard from a source with direct ties that he'll never play hockey again.

And, believe me, I'm hoping that ^^^ is false.

Was Guhle different? Meaning they weren't allowed to call him up to Buffalo? Would love to see him in the lineup instead of Franson, etc

Right so I feel like if he doesnt choose to sign in the next 24 hours, it doesn't necessarily mean he wont sign here. Perhaps he may want a little break

if he is a good Catholic boy, the degree alone is worth more than the sabres could offer him for next season

Well I'm wondering if he would be able to officially retire and take the contract off the books completely. Isn't Pronger's situation only the way it is because it circumvented the cap and would have caused a recapture penalty?

No meaning it doesn't matter where he plays as long as he signs...

He plays in Florida or Tampa and then goes down to Rochester either way
