I guess we got our new target when hewhocan'tbescratched is gone.

I think he will learn from this season (scratching, injury, 4th line etc) and be a much better and stronger player going into 2018 with another summer to prepare.

I want the coach to allow a kid to play thru physical mistakes but I do get a coach getting upset when a player continues to make mental mistakes. I believe Konecny will be much better next year.

Yeah, they'd hate me as well. I would hand out punishments based on the intent of the misdeed, the result of the misdeed, and the perpetrators past history of wrongdoing.

Whether the penalized player is a "star" player or not, or which team does he play for or the identity of the victim or Bettman's opinion would NEVER be a factor.

I'm guessing DOPEs won't be hiring me any time soon.

To me this is simple if they are really serious about protecting players and policing the league. Marchand should be suspended for the entire first round series of the playoffs. However many games that turns out to be. The guy is a great player but he is just an idiot. It has to be dealt with.
