Just checked, Oilers game is the last one this season(or are you talking about a past game?). If so does your friend have tickets to the last game?

Last game will be pricey...

Can't wait for the 5 Swedes to take a hike

As much as they r devoted to the Canucks its prolly time to consider putting internal pressure on the 2 of them. For me its Daniel who is mostly the problem. Hank is still needed down the middle. Maybe offer Daniel a buyout or a trade & if its both so be it. Its crunch time this off season to decide the teams future & maybe cut ties & let Daniel get his 1000 points elsewhere.

On this is why splitting them up is a good idea. Hank is still a serviceable C & without Daniel he has tonllay to the strengths of other wingers.

From the last blog

On reading this it made total sense. IF FA is in business to make money taking it as a yearly approach will be worse & produce a lousy product longer. In the long run its prudent to do what is necessary & tear it down or the apathy will be prolonged costing more in the end.

Also about MacEwen. A player like him can score in close only if shots get thru or a C is a playmaker that gets passes thru in tight. AS of now thats not the Canucks game. He looks intriguing as a 4th liner til he can prove otherwise.

Looking ahead to this next draft & beyond speed & skill down the middle would go a long ways to create scoring & more balance. Therefore if we can get over the fact we r not a competitive team if we don't shoot for the PO's & exercise patience drafting & developing even if trades made we can keep fans interest higher than simply remaining in no mans land. Forcing Edler into a trade i see as a huge step in doing so. Top prospect or 1st this draft would be nice. If its Tanev then we ask for more. Overall our need for more young talent should be priority & we can thru it for 2-3yrs to see the fruit of the rebuild.

you have to be careful what you say about MacEwen because you will hear about it for years and years and years and years later.

If they were really devoted they would do what is best for the team and play somewhere else.

I usually don't pay attention to overagers but this kid actually has a chance to carve out a career. Of course, he needs to continue his unconventional development curve.

It is always a concern with these players that are from outside of CHL, whether they are shown how to play away from the puck. He will learn under the tutelage of Green next season, for now give him some rope and hope he catches on fast.
The kid has something to offer that this team desperately needs, a knack for the net.

IIHF big ice hurts youth from learning checking & puck retrieval IMO.
The adjustment takes time & the will & work ethic to do it.
That is alwqys an unknown when dealing with Euros & maybe why say a Necas looked so good at the WJC's. Any player with a motor that digs & mucks it out usually makes for a better pro sooner.

In this case Goldobin is better served to listen to his teammates in lieu of the coach.

My guess is the message is the same lol

I'll risk it lol
All i mean is he is at best a 4th line energy big body digger.
Utica is where he should start. Rather see him groomed & we forget Grenier as being an NHLer.

That could very well happen if JB & them have a lil chat. I'd guess there will be discussions to that effect given their status & service over the years. Now the Q is do the Sedins think its helping the team if they r gone & fetch more pieces or r they to proud & want to retire here?

I haven't been able to watch any of his playoff games, but I keep seeing highlights and he is so offensively dominant.

He is dominant at that level. The big test will be next year playing people his own age and size

If Mac is truly a 4C he will have to force his body & will on other teams.
A lil more scoring from our 4th line would help a ton. Idk if thats reality.
Energy & grit is one thing but we need more than that if we roll 4 lines.

no chance. It seems most want a tank and having the Sedin's chew up all the PP time and offensive zone starts will ensure this. This fanbase is so franking confused
