The one guy Gadzic ...yes....Thomson is a more complete guy... Not offensive but a good , solid powerful kid, going back to his days in Kitchener...as you saw tonight, he can skate...he can hit....and yes he can fight....a poor mans Tom Wilson. (If that's a thing) - landros 2
Poor man's Tom Wilson = Zac Rinaldo
I mean....c'mon. That dude can't play. |

The Devils called up dudes tonight for this game that only fight. That opportunity was totally there and setup for him.
I was pretty proud that he passed that bullpoop up and just played hockey. - johndewar
Maybe it was because he has a bit of an accent, but I'm pretty sure I heard Morin say in his post game interview that he wasn't challenged. Regardless, man it was annoying how many fighting questions the media asked him about. You really forget how young he is when you see how giant of a human being he is. |

I've watched him since he was 10 years old.....he can play. Zac Ronaldo is dumb. Hence why he played his way out of the league. Thomson has a chance to carve himself out a career. I mean I guess we'll see. |

It was annoying.
I was proud that the kid played his game. Sometimes he looked bad; sometimes he looked good. He played hockey.
Just by his size....he's going to be in the passing lanes and such. He's going to get people off the puck.
I'm glad he's been working these things out in the AHL, out of the glare of (frank)ing idiots. |

Fair enough.
My point was, the opportunity for Sam to just drop his gloves was totally there.
I'm glad he didn't and just played hockey. |

It really was. And it was a game of who is going to be the first reporter to ask first before 3 or 4 followed. But I'm happy with his debut and look forward to seeing him full time with us next season. It was also nice seeing how excited he was, he was pretty giddy post game interview despite the loss |

Honestly, I have no problem starting with him in our bottom pairing to start the season next year with some PK time. I liked what I saw. |

Jets have the ROW advantage on the Flyers. They are two points behind and both play the blue jackets (WPG also has NSH). If the Flyers were on the road I would guarantee it |

This franchise couldn't be further away from winning a Cup if they were playing games on Saturn. - PLindbergh31
What about Neptune?
Alpha Centuri?
Trappist-?

I guess the good news is Bellemare and Nuevirth are back for the next two years.
Without them, where would this team be? |

Kevin Cheveldayoff just cashed another paycheck after his 5th year and can't really hear you. |

Bellemare's 9 minutes of even strength time totally set them back. |

Instead of figuring out a way to upgrade Hextall has the mentality to re-sign and overpay a useless plug.
Really interested to see the next franchise VDV plays 90% of his teams games over a 3 year period.
The wonderful coach had 55, 47, 76, 78, 36 on the ice in a scoreless game with a minute left. What does that tell you? |

Yeah I don't either and fully expect him and at least one other rookie defenseman to start the season with us next year. |

That seems like he was dealt a raw deal.
I'm sure his top players all performed to form, so everything's good? |

Thank god there will be wholesale changes come the summer. This current team is pure poop. |

I still have ST, so I'm not sure there will be wholesale changes.
But I do think the changes that started this year (Provy, TK) will continue. Younger players will be along.
I'm very interested in what they are doing with the goaltenders. We all sure about Neuvirth? Can we still sign Mase? At what cost?
This doesn't mean success follows. It just means change follows. |
