To be fair they do have the best goalie in the world in Gibson as quoted by Sutter

The Duck fans probably believe that one too as it was said by a Kings coach and the Kings personnel DO NOT joke about anything

- KINGS67

Duck fans know when Sutter is being funny and when he isn't. Please. You can scoff at Gibson all you want. I'll take a 23 year old Gibson over a 31 year old Quick any day of the week.

And we both know you're praying Vegas takes one of Gaborik or Brown off your team. Praying for it, while the Ducks are figuring out how to keep everybody. Because we both know, if you were honest, your team is in a world of hurt if Gaborik and Brown remain. And lets be real. The 10 million dollar man didn't look so good this year either. And that contract only has another 7 years to go.

You had your run. And it was quite successful. Nobody is taking anything away from the Kings accomplishments. Yes, it took 47 years (thereabout) but you still have 2 Cups.

Going forward, I'll take the Ducks team and see what happens. With Lindholm, Fowler, Manson, Theodore, Larsson, and Montour as their D (all 25 and under), I think they'll be just fine (and yes, I did omit Vatanen).

Everyday I say and think Sutter is a moron. And everyday someone will come out and remind me of his accomplishments.

So let's for example aay I was a farmer and I had the prize pumpkin at the county fair three years running. The thing about it though, I also lived on the most fertile soil resulting in the best yields of crops. However, in those three years time I was super cheap, used lots of peaticides, lots of inorganic materials, and used inproper methods of replenishment. In that three years time, my soil went to rock and dirt, my yields were poor, and my pumpkins resembled a wrinkled nutsack? Would you call me a moron then? Hey, I had three years of prize winning pumpkins! How can I be a moron? Oh, you're a moron.

I don't know what I'd call you, but I do know I wouldn't eat that pie!

How about a little respect and maybe a nice fruit basket for us Kings fans. We are the reason Anaheim and many other non traditional cities have NHL teams. It all started when we traded for the Great One. So a simple thank you suffice and yes even when the Kings were not very good the stadium was quite full.

I've always wondered becauae I'm sure a large amount of their parents and grand parents muat have been Kings fans. They were spoiled and got angry at their daddy one day for not giving them his credit card. They are like, "I'll show YOU daddy! I'll root for the Ducks"! Don't expect any respect from them.

there was a considerable amount of south county kings fans that jumped ship when the ducks dripped down of Eisner's leg and into the NHL. They did this simply because the Ducks were closer to home. I was born and raised and still live in orange county, but I did not even consider for a second ditching my team. I will never understand that mentality nor do I understand people that say things like, "my other team is..." other team? kick rocks you tool, you have one team, that is all you get. pick one and drop your stupid Hyphenated last name while you're at it

Last nights game was what happens when a group of players play like they care, denounce Sutter's system, and take matters into their own hands. Guys making a tenth of what Kope makes made him look like the worst and slowest player on the ice. After the game I was yelling, "that's...what the (frank)...I'm talking about"! I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Brodzinski was awesome! Pure energy! Dowder and Shoresy, many props them! Brownie needs that captaincy. Sutter fan boy Sheng Peng will never mention any of it. That's what I'm here for.

born and raised in huntington beach, never switched allegiances to the ducks. living in the bay area now and still a kings fan, still wear the jerseys to games at the tank when they're in town. i'm fine with my kids growing up rooting on the sharks, after all it is their own home team. but i'm good with the kings, through thick and thin.

Same here. Born and raised in San Diego, so when the Ducks came around when I was a kid a lot of my hockey buddies switched teams. I've seen a couple more people I know do it recently what with the Gulls right here. It is what it is, switching teams isn't for me but I don't think it's a big deal if a new team gets planted right in your backyard.

Some of my earliest memories are of watching Kings games with my parents, so I'll always be a Kings fan but, when my daughter gets a little older if she wants to be a Ducks fan then I'm fine with that. I'll just buy her an old school Kariya jersey.

i went to ucsd for undergrad, saw a couple of gulls (v2.0 IHL era) games...loads of fun back then. quite honestly, was glad to see ANA revive them as their AHL affiliate during the great migration back to CA. SD has plenty of hockey fans.
