He's a better coach

As a coach he really knows how to pick his battles with the players to keep them on their toes

Maybe, but the NHL is definitely going to Beijing. I don't get skipping one olympics. They're already starting with the exhibition games next year. They want to get into China like basketball did.

remind the ioc how badly they need them? Especially with the time zone factor there's a good chance ratings wise this will be the worst olympics in some time.

Edit: did the nhl not play pre season games in the far east some time ago?

the second they agreed to put it in North Korea i think that was a forgone conclusion.. but hell even brazil pulled most of it off without a hitch. i just wonder what happens with North Korea being a lot less tolerable than brazil

i only just realized ROR, Kane, Kulikov and Lehner were all from the 09 draft. Murray must have lost his mind as a scout on draft day that year

Carrier had some nasty illness earlier in the year as well and missed over a week. Lost 13 lbs during that time too.

Redskins agreed to terms with ILB Zach Brown, formerly of the Bills.
27-year-old Brown established career highs in tackles (149) and forced fumbles (2) in Buffalo last season, although his play leveled off after a hot start, and the Bills' run defense ultimately went in the tank. Washington's defense also struggled versus the run in 2016. In D.C., Brown will compete with incumbents Mason Foster and Will Compton for two starting inside linebacker spots.

The Bills hosted free agent CB B.W. Webb for a visit on Monday.
Buffalo is in the market for cornerback competition after losing Stephon Gilmore in free agency and cutting slot CB Nickell Robey-Coleman. Webb, 27 in May, struggled in 14 appearances with the Saints last season, making eight starts.

buffalo recalls alex nylander

- Michael Pachla

I hope Buffalo shows its talent level and finds the right gears to end the season on a high note...

Eichel is gonna make a huge difference next season provided he stays healthy.
