The hate for Quebec is complicated... I grew up 30 mins from the border and a lot of people speak french where I'm from. It's not so much us anglophones dont like francophones it's the other way around. And they're all Habs fans.. and arrogant.. and they always want to separate.. and they take by far the most of the equalization $.. so yeah it's complicated.. but my best friends are from Quebec.

I don't think Eichel lacks in maturity... but I think AM is better. Between their NHL rookie seasons, and comparable USNDT seasons, Matthews has outperformed him.

And yes Eichel has had a great season coming back from injury... but he's had the extra year of development, which means a lot at this stage. We'll see if Matthews continues to outpace him or not.

Eichel is all ready a leader on his team. Has never beefed with anyone. Has Calle out his teammates when they weren't playing well. That's what leaders do.
