My guess is there was a deal both ways. Flyers burn year of ELC and there is handshake to sign a new deal in offseason.

Honestly I wouldn't know.That's for hextall to decide.I would like to get a real goal scorer for jake.Someone who can provide 30 goals a season.Weather that's possible or not is unknown.I think a guy like Evander Kane could be a good fit.It seems like he is improving his attitude. I don't think buffalo has any interest in jake though.It was a little meaningless to show heart when you really didn't have a chance.All they did was make sure they don't get a top 10 pick.Just like a few years ago.They were sitting to pick 8th went on a winning streak when it didn't matter.They end up getting Morin at 11 buffalo gets ristolainen at 8.Just really frustrated with the lack of improvement. The player would have to be signed by the NHL trade deadline and assigned to the AHL to be eligible for the AHL playoffs, unless signed to a ATO.

Provorov is really good. Amac should not kill penalties. Filpula was a solid pick up.
That is all.

If MacDonald is on the team, he should absolutely be used to kill penalties. He just shouldn't be on the top PK defense pairing.

He's here for another year, and the Flyers have Vecchione, Laughton, Vorobyov and Rubstov as center prospects. If one of them isn't ready to be a top 9 center in 18-19 then Hextall can look at a trade or free agent signing then.

Flyers signed him to ELC. If he wants to play for the Phantoms without starting that ELC, then he needs to be signed to an ATO, otherwise he is not eligible for the AHL playoffs.

being the Phantoms don't play again until Wed at home I wouldn't mind seeing Morin up for a game but I don't think they will do it. do they even have the cap space to call anyone else up?
