Just looking at the Canucks scoring, Horvat with 50 points, because one of the Leaf posters said he doubted Horvat would reach the 50 point mark. Just like Nuck4U, he was wrong
On the downside, I noticed Loui Eriksson was paid 8 million dollars this year to score 11 goals....ouch. Just another reason I won't spend much money on tickets to support that kind of stupidity!! |

These two games in China remind me of Wag The Dog. Deflect the attention away from two teams that have struggled.
Should be Pittsburg and Edmonton with the two biggest names in hockey.
It sucks because listening to Hank today he has seem to take the ambassador role and instead of maybe looking to play for a more competitive team he will spend his time shaking hands instead. - VANTEL

AV went to the SCF with the Rangers two years later. Torts took a bottom three team and turned them into a top 3 team. Get off the coaching thing |

It isnt owned by orca bay anymore, no need for the orca. Dont mind it myself, but dont see the need either.
Who knows maybe the change will be healthy for the team. I remember games when the donned the old logo and battled in it. |

It's definitely the team lineup, but to be fair, there's only a few players left from when Benning took over three years ago. The Sedins and Edler being the major pieces of that. |

We also have a million Chinese here I know that
I just want Hank to be spending his time talking to other teams about possible fits so he can make a cup run . Not shaking hands with ambassadors and deciding what type of cat goes best with Jasmine Rice |

I disagree with Carol in that I don't believe Markstrom's development stalled, if anything the organization is at fault for overplaying Miller AGAIN. Markstrom's numbers are similar to last year, his GAA actual went down, although he played seven less games.
His save percentage was 0.915 last year, 0.910 this year and the team is arguably worse this year.
Cloutier said he's just building on what Rollie taught Marky, some minor tweaks but that's it. - LeftCoaster
I like Markstrom and had thought we'd see him transitioning into a No. 1 role this season. My comment about his development stalling was based more on how he's been treated by the organization—I think even before his injury he lost ground compared to how he was used in 2015-16.
One example of a good goalie who is turning out to be a good goalie coach: Martin Brodeur. He's getting the credit for turning around Jake Allen in St. Louis during the second half of this season. |

I'd be interested to see a graph of some sorta that shows the turnover of players based on usage.
Because its one thing to say a GM has turned 6 (or half) of the forward group, its another for those to be bottom 6 that play less minutes. In this case, as it is being pointed out, Sedins and Edler still remain and are still eating 20 minutes per game |

With a different supporting staff however. We went to the cup in 2011 after changing in favor of newel brown. Brown is still with AV in NYR if I recall.
There's more to the coaching than most know. Its not your opinion and youre entitled to that. |

One more season...which will be good for building as we're bound to get a good draft position. |
