You (frank)s are going to steal Heponiemi in the 2nd round.

Kid is going to be a killer.

- BINGO!

Yeah, why the hell is he ranked so low? I know he's not "big", being listed at 5'10". but 28g & 86pts in 72gp is one hell of a stat line in your draft year.

edit: Do you get to see a lot of Yamamoto? He's tiny, but holy hell did he put up some ridiculous scoring numbers. Suzuki too, but he's not a Dub guy obviously.

Haven't seen much of Yamamoto, sadly.

Heponiemi is light. Like... really light.... but the kid busts his ass all over the ice. I have no idea why he's down so low, but that's typical of players in Swift Current.

Closest airport is a 3 hour drive away. Pretty inconvenient for scouts to get here, so they just don't.

Interesting. He seems like a Garth "trade up into the late first" player. Especially if they go with a forward with their 1st selection.

Could be an eventual offensive defenseman replacement for Pulock if they end up trading him for Duchene.

Heponiemi is a forward.

Steenbergen should be a real nice steal in the later rounds too. Went undrafted last year and led the WHL in goals this year.

Woops, got him mixed up with someone else. Well that's mildly embarrassing.

Not a WHL guy obviously, but Lias Andersson looks like an interesting prospect. Not flashy or exciting, but he seems to play a three-zone, all-situations game. Seems to be in the mold of Bergeron, which to be clear means I am not saying he will be the next Bergeron.

Maybe he and Leddy can get a 2-for-1 deal on some Crest Whitestrips

edit: anyone wanna find out what it costs and split whatever it is to take out a full-page ad in Newsday calling Ledecky out and demanding that he fire Snow?

He looks like he should be in an English comedy.

The bright side.............from the makers of the glass is always half full.

I really am much less concerned about whom we lose in the expansion draft.

Forwards: JT, Ladd and Lee

D-men: Boychuk, Leddy and Pulock

Goalie: Greiss

That gives us the flexibility to protect some more players, and I don't give a poop who they are. The rest of the guys who are eligible to be drafted are simply not that impressive.

Maybe the guys that created the Berube for the all-star game drive can work on it.

Good news is since he's playing in Sweden he'd be eligible to play in the AHL as soon as next season.

But I think he'll be gone before 12. Purely my own opinion, but I think he's the next Zetterberg.

- eichiefs9

He'll just stay over there like our goalie prospect.

Snow's picks in the Top 5 overall .........

JT
Nino
Strome
Reinhart

I guess 1 out of 4 ain't bad?

- JohnScammo

This to me speaks volumes. Tavares was a no brainer. You can't go 1 for 4 with top picks......unacceptable.

I looked it up and it's 10,000. Just PayPal me 1500 now and I'll let you know when it's up.

I honestly can't find a price and am too lazy to call.

Now that they're out I'm hoping the lose the last 6 games. I fully expect them to go go 4-2. They always step up once it's too late.

wrong Jimmy, I would say at least 5-1 if not 6-0 b/c WE ARE ALL ISLES. Now that the pressure is off.
