I haven't been the biggest Hinostroza fan, but I hope he can bounce back like Schmaltz did when he was recalled.

Jurco has met the GP requirement for the expansion draft so he can sit for the rest of the season. I'm not ready to write him off yet, but I'd wait until next season to see what he can do.

tootoo and Kruger both meet the EXP draft requirement. So Jurco's playing or not playing has no bearing on the EXP draft. Jurco last 5 games I thought he has looked solid. last 5 games Jurco 14 SOG, Des 2 SOG. Tootoo 1 SOG. so saying he should sit over those guys makes no sense in the regular season.

Hinostroza Deserves to be here ,and the team was playing much better when he was up then when Jurco made his arrival and Vinny was sent down . It's not the size of the dog in the fight ,but the size of fight in the dog ..

I'll meet ya half way, ask most coaches if they have 2guys with the same attributes, they will always choose the bigger player. We have way too many of those little support guys. Just my preference and expression of an opinion like everyone else is entitled to on these boards. I know I rock a lot of boats here. I'll eat my words if the Hawks win another cup with a kid like Hinostroza playing a significant part. A kid that is a scoring machine likeKane he is not. He is another Yaremchuk, a dime a dozen.
