Yeah, I was thinking off season.

Gotcha. Whoever is in charge of PK should definitely go, that's for sure. Though if it's Murray...I wouldn't imagine seeing him gone.

It already sounds like next year is going to be another lost season.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to look forward to as a fan.

They need to make a lot of changes and I can't see them making many especially as far as players go.

Does anyone know what Sam actually did? Because it's hugely relevant. If he came it to the meeting straight off a bender with blow all over his face it's a problem. If he was just late, it's obviously much smaller problem.

Second: The two people he really punished, 1 the fans. 2 Any player who was on time to that meeting that got scratched and had to sit and watch that play out.

I read (reed) these pages and I realize there are some exceptionally poorly framed ideas out there in the world.

They had to dress him or they were violating the CBA no other option that's why his ass was on the bench

Probably a good thing Reinhart sat last night, although it would have been classier to make him a healthy scratch.
Since Kadri was suspended by the team for disciplinary reasons ( we don't know what) he has improved significantly and is much more a team player.
So as Gionta said best in the long run.

I wonder what Pachla is trying to get at with this:

The first thing that popped into my head upon seeing him was what Murray told a disappointed and emotional Reinhart after he was sent back down to junior back in 2014, "you're my first 1st-round draft pick as a GM."

Is there an implied allegiance? Or is it suggested the pick was poorly made?

Also- Reinhart and Ullmark to CAR for Slavin.

Oh word. Still doesn't make sense. It served no one to not play him once all night. If what he did is so bad, then he should be suspended starting today(if the CBA allows that, I don't read it). If was so so then he made a fool of himself, punished his teammates and the fans.

Implied allegiance I assume. That whole NHL vs Jr. situation sucks. I understand why it exists, but it sucks.

I guess it was one of those last-minute decisions because Kyle got sick

How did he make a fool out of himself if you were showing everyone that one player is not bigger than the team

He had no other option he couldn't scratch him because you need 18 skaters

Bylsma could have played him as the extra attacker At the end. he would have been motivated to play well and if he scored, Bylsma would have looked like a genius. Bylsma is the one who looks like a child IMO

Because they lost the game and were already down a player. We've all been there where coach/your boss/whoever benches you with good intent but then some unexpected $hit goes down(like Okposo being sick) and all that punishment crap should go out the window. But hey Sabres fans, I know you just watched your team lose it's 237th game in 5 seasons, but don't worry, Sam won't ever ever be late to a meeting again. Dam we should elect ourselves champs of the punctuality cup now. Plan the Parade!

It's indicative of Bylsma's poor leadership; he had a chance to teach Reinhart a lesson and then show the team that one's mistakes shouldn't come at the expense of the entire team. Suspending Radulov during the playoffs was dumb, too. The correct move was a bag skate and then release him during the summer. Once again, you shouldn't punish a team for the actions of one

That would be totally reasonable if the agreed upon punishment was possible. The punishment was to be a healthy scratch and that wasn't possible because of the roster rules. Bylsma should have modified the rules to fit the situation. Clearly Bylsma didn't see the irony in bending their own rules for punishment
