Not to mention that no NHL team is going to fight for 75 games to get where they are and then lose games on purpose. Every one of these guys got to this league by being winners at every level. They have too much competitiveness and professional pride to even think about it. Tanking and positioning is something fans and media outlets romanticize, but the players wouldn't consider it, IMO.
