In reality, the objective of every second that ticks off the clock during a hockey game is to use the talent available on your roster to win. Goldobin should be utilized during situations that suit his skillset and IMO that includes extra ice situations (man advantage & 4 on 4). To wait until he thrives in situations that don't suit his skillset in order to finally use him in situations that do suit his skillset is a huge waste of time.
