What are you talking about? Your statement can't be true because I saw many on here pencil him in as a second line winger to Bo Horvat. And that was after his very first NHL game with the canucks.

You have to be wrong.

- bloatedmosquito

its what people do on these boards. Boeser is a 1st linger winger, 30 goal potential, 70 point potential character player. You didn't know? That is just his floor too, his ceiling is much higher

I was speculating a while back if Markstrom trade will be explored this offseason. No reason he cant be a serviceable backup as his next contract cap hit isnt outrageous.

Given how bad the team will be, I'd be willing to take on someone like Howard, one of the Dallas guys, Smith, Luongo, etc to see if we can get something of value for taking a contract

I'm on board with Luo, we can just force him to work till he's 40 so we don't take the cap hit for his horrible contract I would like too see us pick up Bishop on a cheap 2 year deal, see if we can't get him back to vein shape, because that's some quality trade bait once Demko is ready.

Exactly, also frees up another slot where we can retain salary on a trade

I wouldnt want to acquire any more goalies outside of the necessity. I think Demko/Gartieg should be the Utica tandem, and with the flooded market it won't be worth much trying to flip Bishop IMO

He'd really be looking forward to the next goalie controversy with Demko...

He's averaging 22 goals with 11 minutes of ice time, he's a 40 goal scorer of we bump him up to top line winger and give him 22 minutes a night.
We need a 40 goal scorer on the top line so why not him.

On that note Boeser is inn pace to score 54.6 goals, so he should be the other winger.... right? And as he gets in more time his points will go up to, right?

So were looking at a 44 goal left winger in Boucher and a 55 goal score in Boeser. Now that's almost a hundred assists for horvat to pick up. So let's leave Bo with 22 goals and give him 100 assists, that's over 120 points.... right guys

That's how this works right? Development is linear right?

Obviously Florida would be picking up half his cap hit when he comes back.
And Next year we'll pick up Taveras on a 5x5 show me contract after we grab Bishop on a5 Year 1.25m show me contract.

Swap him out with Bo and we're looking at a 130 point center

what a BUM that guy is. Nothing motivates your team like threatening your core and best players that they will be traded if they don't pick up their poop. They didn't just spank Chicago 7-0 last week or anything....

Shane Malloy said his floor is 2nd line winger and his likely ceiling is 1st line winger. He knows a lot more than the hacks on here.

Can Benning fire Willie curbside in Buffalo? Or a more dangerous City like Chicago

what a pile of stool that organization has become. After such a good year last year too. It all went belly up once Gallant was fired.

haha I know, I was being sarcastic. Its very re-assuring hearing more positives on what could be a true first line winger of our future.

don't tell that to Florida. They are all about the analytics and fancy stats and look at how well that organization as a whole is doing

Samples sizes my friend.... look at their stats in Utica last year. Bachman is a plug playing above his abilities
