Garth should ask Florida what they thought of Pulock.

I'm not rooting for them to suck. I just expect .500 hockey for the last 7 games and them to finish with 89 or 90 points in 10th (maybe 11th).

I'm just joking. But another night of BOS/TOR/CAR winning and us losing pretty much means I'd be OK with losing out to jump a few spots in the draft and/or give a more definitive push of Snow out the door.

I got news for you......with the additions of Ho Sang and next year Barzal, Strome lost his spot. Ho Sang in the few games he's played has shown more dynamic offensive skill than Strome, who's supposed to be an offensive talent.

I keep strome over Nelson but that's just me, strome has shown that he can be decent again with the right coach and shows heart and will scrap. Nelson is a 6'3" labia on skates

I'll gladly take Tallon and some of the players off the Panthers hands.

I'd rather have the 6'3 Labia and his points then the Useless Center/Wing in Strome

Whats to like? I hope Vegas takes him

I would much rather have Barzal take his playing time next year or Beau for that matter.

If we acquire someone to play second line center then you might be seeing Barzal centering Beau/Strome. I could gets down with that line.

Same here. I rather not lose Strome for nothing. If he needs to be included in a package for a bigger piece fine. Still rather give him another year with a new coach.

Oh come on, the guy isn't a star but he's far from terrible. He's a fine 3rd liner for now. Nelson probably has more value in a trade anyway. So if you could lose Strome for peanuts or Nelson as part of a deal that lands you something decent-or-better...which would you choose?

Sorry I meant it worked very well for the trap Devils. Boring to watch but it was very effective. I'm not saying a want a trap but I want some sort of solid D system.

Without a doubt because as inconsistent and streaky as he is he has put up pretty good numbers.
We don't need 3rd liners on this team we need some real top 6 and if your top 5 Picks are giving you 3rd line players somethings wrong and we know who that is.

I mean Nelson has managed to score a whopping 10 more points and 4 more goals in 5 more games played than Strome.

Not sitting here trying to say Strome is a better player but that's hardly "pretty good" numbers and it's not like he's blowing Strome out of the water.

I'm not impressed with Nelson's numbers at all. He is a first half player only. He can never been found when the team really needs him.

He's undoubtedly the more-talented of the two, but I just don't think he does anything that separates him from the pack that would be justification for not trying to squeeze him for some value in a trade.

BROCK has averaged 20 goals the last 3 years, playing with totally different line mates constantly. Again he's soft but not everybodies going to be that tough power forward like Ladd
As far as I'm concerned taking face-offs and everything into consideration I take Nelson over Strome in a heart beat.
Again Nelson has a 20 goal avg. under this coaching, everyone says they would love to see Strome with different coaching what about nelson?
He's become the new Nielson and KO on this thread and i just don't get it

Edit : Let me add he can play Wing and center and not piss and moan about it.

Yeah, again, I'm not arguing that Strome is "better". Just that Nelson isn't exactly some sort of majorly-important asset to this team and that we might be better served trading him because he carries more value than Strome.
