Its been dull and dumb except for ghost's forays. Now last nights tampa/Chicago game. Is a good game to watch

For all the talk about Simmonds being the only person who works hard yada yada.......Weal has a hunger no one else is matching IMO. Every shift it's do or die, doesn't matter if it's offensively or defensively, with the puck or without it, in space or along the boards just scrapping and clawing. He knows this is his NHL shot, and he won't be denied. It's been a treat.

It's only 17 games, but he's been great for them in those 17 games. I doubt any Flyers 4th liner has put together anything close to this 17 game stretch.

Sucks bout the accidents. Other than the girl I hit, the big one that cracked my windshield and walked away without a scratch I've been aight. Closer calls in the car than when I used to have the bike.

Hitting people with your car is the worst feeling.

I smashed a guy on his bike 50 yards into an intersection with my Ford Ranger. 2 in the morning, riding on the wrong side of the road, 40 tucked in his cargo pants, dressed all in black. I thought I killed him. He had a broken leg wouldn't let me call an ambulance and had a buddy pick him up before the cops got there. Cops took my name, I went home and never heard another word.

What's surprising is Weal hasn't gotten more assists so far, but he's a good passer, so that will probably come.

Not just at 5v5, but his ability to QB that Giroux spot has been night and day in appearance. We've never had anyone else in recent years who can do that like him for that unit
