They had the option to play Weal over any player on the team! If it's not Vandevelde's fault than why did you bring him into it? You know darn right well why you did. Weal is not a better defensive player.

There is literally nothing Vandevelde does better than Weal on the ice. He's easily the worst player on the team. That's why I chose him. I think Weal is better than Bellemare too if that makes you feel any better. I just know the Flyers think highly of Bellemare, so they'd never bench him for Weal. Benching Vandevelde for Weal is an open and shut case. If the Flyers truly believe He's better than Weal, then I really have to question their scouting department and talent evaluation.

You lack understanding of roles on a team. If you did, you'd know that Vandevelde and Weal aren't and never will be competing for ice time. Weal is a more talented offensive player, but he does not have the size or checking ability that Vandevelde has. Nor do we know that Weal would be a better PKer in the NHL. Two completely different players.
