I get a huge kick out of the truly inventive and well flat out absurd narratives that Vandevelde is now the cause of Weal becoming a UFA. That really takes talent to be that creative. As if because Vandevelde was in the lineup and playing, that made it completely impossible for Weal to be on the team also. Well done!

I just know Ghost's late season surge will be widespread attributed to his injury because that's the easiest narrative. Hey, maybe it's true, but he looked good all the way back in September at the World Cup and early on before his confidence was completely shattered, unlike Giroux, who looks noticeably different to me physically.

As frustrating as this season has been it could be worse. We could've signed Bobby Ryan to that deal. Talk about a guy who fell off a cliff.

It's not Vandevelde's fault. It's the team's fault for playing him over Weal. Weal is clearly better. He's a better defensive player to boot. It's poor talent evaluation and it could cost them an asset in Weal.
