In my post up there "to play" was supposed to be "top". I can neither edit nor quote, so...

Side note: there is no evidence whatsoever that Trouba wants out.

why do you assume Vegas would prefer these trade situations over having Myers or Enstrom? I think they'd try and milk Chevy for more or tell him where to go.

The answer to this is quite simple. Vegas will never get either of them. Chevy will trade one of them to another team and get real value before he ever lets them go for free to Vegas. Therefore as far as Vegas is concerned they would rather have draft picks or prospects rather than nothing. Its not rocket science.

So chevy, the guy who's made one trade will just pull this off, ya that sounds likely lol

I have faith in Chevy. He will get the deals done that need doing. Tyler and Toby will remain Jets.

In addition to positioning for the expansion draft he will get a good goalie as there are lots available. Getting the 3rd pairing dman we also need will be a little tougher. Not much out there.

There is no evidence he wants to be here either. I like that he's playing up to potential to at least raise his trade value.

Side Note: Also I don't understand how you would want to expose Myers as if that is the case, Chevy should hand in his resignation as the Evander Kane deal would look incredibly bad if that were to occur. As it would be Winnipeg trading away Kane, Bogosian and Kasdorf for 2016 Bruins conditional 6th rounder, Jack Roslovic, Joel Armia and Brendan Lemieux. That trade does not look good at all if Myers is exposed.

Kasdorf ? His stats so far this season in the minors make all of our goalies look like Hasek.

016-17 Rochester Americans AHL 3 0 0 177 17 1 0 5.75 0 3 0 82 0.828
2016-17 Elmira Jackals ECHL 27 1 0 1400 92 4 1 3.94 5 17 0 674 0.880

I never said Kasdorf was a superstar and based on what Lemieux is becoming. It could be a wash. I see Lemieux as a forth line winger or career AHL man. Kasdorf is probably a career AHL goalie with stats like that. Still if Myers is exposed, that whole Kane deal looks horrible.

Getting Kane off the team, makes the trade worthwhile no matter what happens.
Just one man's opinion.

Chevy won't EXPOSE Myers. Never happen. But we are way better off going 7-3 rather than 4-4 . So he will cut a deal on Myers ( or Enstrom) with Vegas so he doesn't have to protect him. If Vegas doesn't bite then Chevy would likely do the 4-4 route and have to do some other deal with regards to Perreault or Lowry or Armia.

Poolman signed!!!

now Chevy, here is your to do list for the rest of summer;

I am not as concerend about the Vegas draft as others but DO NOT want to see Myers or Enstrom gone. We can afford to lose Perrault, Dano or Copp. I wont lose sleep over any of those three.

-Connor can take Perrault's spot on the 2nd line.
-trade for a better penalty killing thrid line center like Zajak or Trocheck. Raslovik can stay on the Moose for one more year and there are always injuries, the added depth at center would be a good problem. This also bumps Lowry down to fourth line center where i want him.
-hope Detroit leaves Howard unprotected and work out a deal with Vegas for him.
- Poolman signing is great but i have no interest in seeing Postma, Stuart or Chairot ever again. sign another 5-6 D thais better than those three.

make it happen chevy!!
