He will have like 20 points and watch next year he will be in the AHL cause for some reason they will say he cant play defense or he needs to mature
- kasperrko

They want him to play more like Hickey.

You can have it. Time to burn this forest down and see what regrows in its place.

Once again Garth works on adding players for Bridge more than the NHL team.

- ses111

He was actually tied for the team lead in points for BC this season. Still don't care, but maybe he'll pan out down the line. Most likely not.

Caps are all yours, I'd love to see them taken down by an 8-seed.

Something has to push the needle with the Islanders and I'm hoping missing the playoffs is it. Not overly confident in anything happening, but I know nothing will happen if they have the excuse of having made the playoffs.

I could care less about Bridge right now. Garth works harder to add for Bridge than he does at the trade deadline. We've seen time and again while the rest of NHL teams are signing NHL FA's, Garth is stocking up on players for Bridge.

No idea if anyone posted it, but:

Asked Weight if #Isles need another call-up to give them a jolt. "We'll consider everything that's available."

I'd love for him to come up and lite the pp on fire and them just miss so Ledecky can say "we had this all along, are you (frank)ing stupid"

Problem is their should be no excuses. This team has played crappy basically all year. Anyone with eyes can see this. I have seen other teams rebuild and get better and better each year. We always seem to fall backwards. The difference between these teams and ours? Coaches get fires GMs get fired but not here

I have said that since day one he is a great minor league GM but has no clue about the NHL. He kind of avoids it like the plague

Would be nice. I have to think the Caps are going to have their run one of these years and it could be this year.

I still cannot believe what Tampa is doing with all those injuries and no Stamkos this year. Cooper should get coach of the year.

I hope they call up Pulock and he scores 12 PP goals just to make them look like bigger (frank)ing idiots. They probably won't do it for that exact reason. Winning is never the biggest reason for any decision Snow makes, it's secondary.

It helps when you have reliable goaltending and an all-world defenseman. Doesn't hurt having a guy like Kucherov hammering pucks into the net either.

Soundtigers signed Matthew Gaudreau to an ATO.

I'm sure he will be just as good as Brett Lindros and Blake Kessel.

This is all true. Still a heck of a job by Cooper and Stevie Y. Tampa is run very well and it shows.

Not sure about that, but it's not that far off either. Kucherov doesn't get nearly enough love, he's totally awesome.

he is money, wish we had a guy that could do that. Jt has been close to terrible considering his talent. remember when he would get the puck and make guys look dumb and score clutch goals? he needs a bounce back year, and heres my prediction the isles will win their next 5 and get back in only to lose the last few and miss by a point, just to (frank) with us

It's so bizarre. Garth got halfway through a proper rebuild and went "Well, close enough."

Team should be way better than this.

I like what Doug Weight has done behind the bench, though. Gotta get rid of his "Andy from The Office" look.

JT is starting to look more and more like Eric Staal did. Doing his damnedest but the talent around him just dragging him down.
