Hawks are the 2nd least penalized team in the NHL. It's absurd, totally absurd, to think there is some agenda against them.

If the argument is the refs in general are bad, fine, but the conspiracy theories are absolute non-sense.

4-4 in a vacuum is meh

4-4 after establishing a 4-1 lead in a "bounce-back" game that carries importance is very disturbing. Giving up those 3 goals in such a short amount of time, while looking rattled and having horrible body language is even more disturbing.


And the Lightning we faced in those finals are minus Stamkos, Filpulla, Johnson, Callahan, Boyle, etc....

Not even close to being the same level of competition.

I must say I'm pretty happy about the way we've played this 3rd period.

But we gotta get a goal. No moral victories after a 2nd period like that. We need 2 pts. And I'm nervous about going to OT/SO with these guys.

Wolf, you know that has nothing to do with it. Why are they the 2nd least penalized team? They possess the puck more than the other teams, generally. Look at how many penalties ARE NOT CALLED against them, especially Hossa and Kane.

Just way too nitpicky and negative when things are seemingly going well with your hockey team. Thats the part i find annoying.

But right now, things aren't going well, so please, let the team have it. They deserve it. Give me some neat stat that shows how pathetic they've been these past few games.

What you don't understand is that ALL stats are nit-picky.

But I'll give you a comment for the last two games, and a stat: undisciplined play (not the same as mental softness here because this is usually a very disciplined team) leading to 10 penalties against Sunrise, and 3 tonite - many of the stupid variety (o-zone penalties, mouthing off penalties, unforced DOGS).

We'd be looking at much different results, I think, if the Hawks had given up their usual quota of about 2 PPs per game.

Pretty good defense tonite, except for the 10 minutes and the TB PPs: giving up too many shots (48 5x5) but only 19 on net.

And an argument, facts/data, that promotes the view there is NO conspiracy theory is explained away by "puck possession". Puck possession for this team is not that far pronounced in its favor to so easily mitigate a grand conspiracy to land the Hawks #2 in least PIMs on the year.

But there you have it.

Of course, the Hawks interfered with 86 with a couple minutes left, no call yet I hear nothing from you that the refs have a conspiracy against Tampa Bay. A conspiracy against the Hawks lands the Bolts at least ONE power play in that third period. But that didn't happen....of course there is an explanation for that and the NHL is against the Blackhawks...well, because.

Hell, 2 of the 3 Hawks penalties were DOG calls. ONE single Penalty in any other way, yet there is a conspiracy. LMMFAO
