First off, let me say this. This is a huge statement for the Rangers. Sharks defending WC champs, obviously. However, they have been really bad lately being losers of 6 in a row. Logan Couture might not play tonight, all of this added into the fact that with a win the Rangers can clinch a playoff berth. The Rangers can really alleviate the sour taste in many mouths with a win.

Secondly, on to these lines and D pairings. I'm not a fire AV guy every time he makes a move. Having said that, putting Miller on the 4th line is absurdly stupid. Miller has been the most consistent player on this roster the entire year. Scratching Buch for Puempel isn't a big deal. The fact that Staal and Holden with both play tonight and likely will be a pair is a big deal.
