And then they sign Brashaer in the offseason after that. I remeber the fan base and myself being furious about that.
Then Betts went to Philly if I recall so they never had that moment where they two had to be in the same locker room.. regardless I bet a few Rangers werent happpy with that. - MiloslavHorava
I'm still pissed about both the punch and the signing.
Remember when Sandy McCarthy called him a monkey and the league freaked out until Sandy said his father is black? |

They did a pretty unheard of thing & didn't announce the team that' season on opening night player by player, choosing to just announce them all together as "here are your 2009-10 NY RANGERS." It had everything to do with Brashear & the egg on the Garden's face when 18,200 people booed the pug. |

if they get 12 out of last 12 possible points it isn't going to mean squat once playoffs begin either - jimbro83
I mean winning 6 games in row going hot into the playoffs will help... absolutely matters |

It was pretty obvious he had at least 1 black parent.

these playoff series are their own mini-seasons, I've seen enough of them the last 10 years to know it's all out the window once it starts |

Barring winning or losing out they're playoff standing is what it is. Just want to see Hank stay healthy & get sharp & avoid any major injuries. Game 1 is gonna be on the road in Montreal or Ottawa in a couple weeks no matter what. |

Rangers have about 4 thousand players right now, and Oscar Lindberg is actually one of the few playing well, and he wouldn't be playing if they got Boyle - jimbro83
I would have sat Fast. |

I don't make a big deal over lineup moves but Pimple playing makes no sense unless they trying to keep players fresh. Miller may be a message sending thing, he had some bad turnovers the other night. I also don't get Girardi and Klein both no playing the same game, ever now play the best 6 Dmen grrr |

Did Buch even play against the Ducks? He was completely non-existent, don't think I heard his name called. |

Defensive forwards are great, as long as they're not bald, fat and slow |

I swear the average Ranger fan has a pea sized brain...we suck defensively so let's take out our best defensive forwards. Brilliant! |

Is Boyle a big downgrade defensively from Fast? Plus Boyle is a better PKer and can produce more offensively. Not starting the debate over, but Fast sux. |

I think you might have to ask yourself what you, or more to the point, the coaches expect from Fast. He is a 4th line, defensive forward. Since all the debate on here, I have been watching him a little more closely, I have to say that I see what AV likes. I'm not saying he's a star, but he's in the right position, plays hard on his man every shift and generally makes the safe play (granted, sometimes too safe).
Boyle has 4 more points than him, so did you want them to bring in yet another forward to fit into 12 spots, just for an extra 0.054 points per game? |
