I'd be mildly surprised if Laughton makes the team and even more surprised if Lyubimov re-signs, but I could certainly see them going with your top 3 lines, though I might want to flip TK and Weal.

Yes I know, I have very optimistic views that the youth pans out.

I'd look to move Read if he doesn't go in expansion and 1 of Raffl or Weise if he does. That being said, they shouldn't use any assets to rid themselves of any of the 3 deals. Read could be someone who brings assets in at the TDL as a pending UFA.

Only flaw in this loaded lineup is Laughton! Hey you left out Raffl...

I'm predicting he goes in expansion. I'd then move Read if the plan is to keep Weal.

I think you're probably pretty close to what is going to happen. I'd protect Raffl over Bellemare, but then they'd probably lose Bellemare. It will be interesting to see what happens, and how they approach it.

I think Bellemare's age and new contract make him a strong candidate to not be picked. Why would LV take him at $1.45mil per when they could have a younger player for half the cost?

I would not protect Bellemare. I would be overjoyed if LV took one of Raffl, Read, Weise, Bellemare or MacDonald.

i find it varies on the weather a lot.

i've also tended to skew cold more just because its quicker and easier. small junk to munch on throughout the day.

Same reason three teams were apparently after him at the deadline. GMs like how he plays.

I would protect Raffl, sign Weal after the ED, and hopefully lose Bellemare to Vegas. That would leave 15 forwards.

Top 5 players I would be most excited about losing in the expansion draft

1. \AN-droo MAK-DAWN-uhld\
2. Bellemare
3. Weise
4. Neuvirth
5. Manning (because it means they didn't protect him)

Lightning's official site says the words Playoff Push...the Flyers' does not. I find this insulting

If Bellmare had someone other then VDV to drive play, he may surprise us next year in offensive output. His point can make up for the departure of Raffl.

I do think that being strapped to VDV hurts his production, but he is not someone I would assume could replace anyone's offensive output

They would have to have the Av's record to not send those out!

Don't worry, if they don't make it, they'll just credit it towards next year's season tickets. You don't expect them to actually ever give you money back, do you?

Agree.

I think Bellemare was signed to a deal to almost to make a team think about drafting him. he might be a little too much for a role in Vegas.

Weal has started to make me think. I don't think he gets taken but he has shown me some good things. to me he reminds me of Sheary. So far he has been noticeable every night.

Raffl, Laughton, Leier I have no clue. Not sure any have really done enough or have such game that a team would take a chance on them.

Read and Weise are my most likely choices to be taken. While not having that great of years they are known commodies that can play up and down the lineup. Read can play some PK and Weise did play PP before.

I think Read gets taken by Vegas.

Small sample size but I like what I've seen from Weal in his call up. He might be a player Vegas might take a chance on.

Doubtful.

If I'm Vegas there isn't anything worth taking from the Flyers.

To think there is no player out there equal or better then Raffl via trade and or signing is also asinine.
- Konalover

If that opinion was given, maybe you'd have a point.
