Very much like Tanev but can shoot
- VANTEL

Yes, imagine how good of a player Tanev would be if he had an AHL level shot......

Maybe so but the draft is no guarantee either.
If u claim Duchene cannot help a team then thats ludicrous.
Very speedy skilled c's don't grow on trees.

- Nighthawk

He would help the team depending on what you have to give up. If its tanev id say we would be better next season with tanev than duschene plus your also adding..

Exactly...if he is the all mighty saviour, why can't he lift Colorado out of the toilet?
- Bullfrog77

Is he McDavid? C'mon one player doesn't take teams to promised land.
Just say he is junk or whatever instead of saying 1 player not named MacKinnon is the reason for all the teams woes.

Av's r horrible. PERIOD

Almost similar to josi.. If you could pair him with high skilled RD that can really skate and move the puck your going to have an outstanding pair for the next 12 years.

Good to see Canuck fans still aiming for the soft as far..k. types.
We need some solid players that have some bite for our top 6 . No thanks to the Makar, Middlestadt, Liljegren Hischier types.

That could be Stecher down the road but it would probably be smart to pair him with Tanev to start

I was big on Kane at the start of the year, but that ship has sailed.
Draft and develop.

He might be available as UFA next summer. If I were him and want to come here this team would be a good fit for him plus be able to afford his contract demand. Offloading Sedins that season plays into his timing well. They could even force a move on LE.

Talent wins, not toughness, it's not 1980 anymore. Mix some toughness in after you acquire some skill. Like the Oilers did.

I just read that Callan Foote is 6'6" and loves to throw
huge hits. Drafting a kid like that would allow a Tanev trade that could bring back a young forward. I we are 6-9 and Mittlestadt is gone
That may be worth a look.

Owen Tippet looks like a beast as well if Gaudette can become a 2LC he may be worth drafting over a C.

You can get potential top 6 PF net crashers like Gadjovich in the 2nd round.

I dont think stetcher will ever be an elite player. He will be a good player that plays a 2 way game but I want an elite D prospect just as much as a center.

With this draft we are in a great position because we can use either. While all other teams at the bottom need defense badly.

Just a humorous thought.
If Dahlen turned out to be a top center and we drafted Dahlen next year as a top elite Dman then that would kill my dream of no more Swedes

I know it says 64 on hockeydb, the Canucks Army rankings have him at 6'6"

Even 6'4" is YUGE

There are some players out there that have a little nastiness in there game that are also rated on various lists to be in the top 10-12 range.
Patrick, Vilardi, Rasmussen and Glass. Apparently Neças also plays with a bit of bite.

I would hope we go for either Foote or Valimaki depending where we pick of course.

I want my top players to have some bite and pushback, the last 15 years of Canuck Fandom have been embarrassing for me.
