He entered camp two years ago at 213, he played at 230 in junior.

So far in his life, Doughty has stepped up when need be. As a star defenseman with the OHL’s Guelph Storm, he was the top defensive prospect for the 2008 NHL draft, ranking only behind center Steven Stamkos overall. But at 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds, there was one nagging question: his conditioning.

You're relentless in your diversion - congrats you were right about Doughty being a fat kid 10 years ago - the point is he's currently 6'1 - 195, not far off from OJ.

I love how you keep avoiding all the factual/current information i Keep spoon feeding you about OJ - what part of "he has gained muscle/weight don't you understand?
He was 180lbs and was sent back for another year to gain strength and experience - click both boxes, mission accomplished - what more do u want him to do? What's left for this kid to do in the OHL?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but they do have odds and can move up or down in first round.

Every other round they have the 3rd pick

Pretty sure if you read back, someone had given a decent breakdown of the game. They were live at game so a little different perspective from us folk that don't get to see live games.

I honestly read about 1 page back when I join in because there are a lot of wasted time.

I hope we draft 4th or 5th and we take whoever is left between Mittlestad or Vilardi.
- CanuckDon

it seems Nico Hischier is the prize at center and Liljegren on D. Id like either of those.

He is injured again. Unless I missed it quickly skimming the article, I haven't seen what he is out with.

From the Provies:

The Canucks realize they have an organizational need at centre, and finding one who can make plays in the draft will be on of the focuses.

They’d like a distributor to get pucks to to some of wingers who they believe will be able to score goals on the main stage.

One they have their eye on for sure is Casey Mittelstadt, a gifted playmaker, and a scorer too, who has big NHL upside.

He’s prominent in the debate over the best centre after Hischier and Patrick, and right now I’d bet he’s the third centre taken and probably in the top 5/6.

Benning was in Green Bay, where Mittelstadt plays in the USHL, to get a first hand look at him for games both Friday and Saturday.

Not sure how Friday went, but I heard Mittelstadt played really well on Saturday, and scored this beauty

Vilardi (from what I have seen in the last 2 playoff games VS London) has been soo dominant. The puck follows him. I would be happy with him as well.

Tanev belongs on another team.
Beiga belongs in Vegas.
Sedins belong on the 3rd line with reduced minutes.
Horvat deserves 1st line with minutes
Stecher belongs in the AHL.
Golden boy belongs in the AHL.
WD deserves another two year extension

Yes Tanev needs to go as well as Edler.
No Biega is the new Burrows and will be a 4th line staple.
Yes Sedins are third line material now.
Yes Horvat should be leading in all categories.
No Stecher is fine here.
No Goldy is fine here.
Green should be here next year unless they want Willie to 'develop' Boeser.

You got 3/7 not bad...
