Hard to say because they saw first hand what the fallout looked like with Mats and how that may have impacted his legacy.

Mats is still a Leafs legend, but I think A LOT of Leafs fans who understood the situation and what it meant for the team's future at the time would hold him in much higher regard today. I know I would.

Both him and Rychel. I think Johnson because of his speed and finish can be a pretty useful 3rd liner.....Rychel I'd love to see beside Matthews instead of Hyman down the line.

He doesn't have spectacular career numbers, and this year definitely looks like an outlier. It does suggest that Sparks (who has a very solid AHL record) is likely the better goalie, it just comes down to whether he's ready for the NHL. I'd honestly consider having Sparks as full-time backup bext year, but it comes own to whether you value more talent or more experience at this point.
