Ohhhh, I thought you meant away from the team, as in the team is what makes him good (a la LA Kings goaltending)

He's still the best goalie prospect we have by a country mile
- bluengold12

Wow, some pretty bad stinkers there, three 5 goal games I think and at least one 4 (in only 14 total away games too)

Tough to judge him since he hasn't played outside of ND since 13/14, but he was bad in those tourneys it looks like

Tournaments stats aren't very good huh?

Why? Looks like his team won gold in the 2 years he played (or am I reading it wrong?). But his stats were bad, the team scored like mad in 13/14 it looks like

That's why I'm not going to anoint him the next great goalie.... he could be but he could be average too..... gotta see him in the AHL and see him progress there before I get excited. Goaltending has never really been a problem here.

I not going to run to the nearest bridge if he doesn't sign here that's for sure

I just like the idea of having a legit plan B to lehner. Someone to either push him to be better or replace him outright if he cant.

Minnie seems to be just the better team thus far. Watching the game the Irish can't establish any real zone pressure. Some perimeter shooting, but no real dangerous chances either.

Edit: As soon as I say that, Petersen makes a beautiful pass (passed from his crease to the far blue line) gets the assist and they score.

Considering he has no plan in place at goalie or defense except Guhle you might not be far off if Murray doesn't pull a 180 with this team by next year

Is it selfish to hope Petersen plays well, but ultimately loses so we can get that ELC signed?

Based off the season the kid from Sweden just had I'd say that he is no slouch as a prospect.... and I think he played in a tuffer league than Peterson.

He played most of his year in the B league of Swedish hockey. And had a losing record in doing so.

The Swede plays in a B league not comparable.
