7-1-1 before this. Pretty pissed about it. But I'll give them the benifit of the doubt. Get a big win at home vs the Panthers and they are pretty close to solidifying a spot.

If they go 4-3-1 they get 94 points. Which is easily done.

Boston would have to go 5-2
Islanders would have to go 5-1-2 or 6-1-1
Tampa would have to go 6-1-1

AND 2/3 teams would need to achieve these records.

They are more than capable of blowing it. This is a very young team.

We should be happy with what we have seen so far. The playoffs would be a nice bonus.

Buffalo is playing in garbage time now. How many times over the last 10 years did we see the Leafs knock off far superior teams in garbage time at the end of the year.
