I'm a firm believer that a lot of this seasons misfortunes rest on Hakstol. Look at Toronto's roster compared to Philly's and what Babcock has gotten out of them. Obviously the players are the ones at the end who take the blame but I'm just so sick of hearing "We did a lot of good things tonight" Agree? Disagree? Maybe I'm just bitter because of no playoffs!

I understand there are holes, but with a few adjustments to the lineup elevating Konecny, putting Wiese on the 4th line would make more sense to me. They are coming off a really good effort in Minnesota, so I understand the lines remaining the same.

+1 being pissed about being on NHL network. Optimum in CT has it in an additional package that you have to pay extra. Not sure why NHL.tv isn't allowed to broadcast NHL Network. It should be factored into carriage fees.

Maybe the 9-14 pick in a package with Laughton and one or 2 of our many late round picks for a bona fide nhl player who has "learned how to play a nhl role" and has a track record in whatever facet needed for 2018 not 4 years from this draft...

Explain Zhitnik for Coburn, signing Briere, acquiring Biron, taking the worst team in the league to the Conference final one year later and the Cup finals 2 years after that, turning Richards into Simmonds and Schenn. Did he make mistakes? Of course, all GMs do. Was he the greatest GM of all time? No, but he was far from the worst.
