That should have been a goal. I hate how inconsistent these reviews are from game to game. I've seen goals allowed on the Pens with more contact than that.

There was contact but even without it he had no chance of making that save

Shocked how many people want to see Crosby punished on the ice. I'm a Sens fan and disgusted with the action but these things happen in a fast sport like Hockey. Crosby is still a great player and a class act, every player has these moments because of the way the game is played.

That was my impression to, but I'm not gonna argue with the hockey gods on that one.

I am still laughing at how that one got reversed... like, I get the contact was made... but that goal was near impossible to get to regardless. Treat that like an uncatchable pass when there is passer interference in the NFL.

I know I mentioned earlier that I didn't want to see Rust on the top line but Sid and Sheary seem to be very used to playing with speed right now. Horny wasn't even in the frame on a few of those entries

Cmon Wilson... First off the game was more wide open in the 80s and 90s than anytime after that. 10 goals in a game for a team happened. So did penalty calls. This isn't about being a dinosaur and not wanting change. I want it to change back to the more physical edge of the seat game it use to be. Power Plays and skill meant something. Guys didn't want to give the Pens a PP back then. Now high sticks, delay of game, and to many men are only thing consistently getting called.

Secondly maybe you don't really like hockey. This is the game you chose to follow quit trying to fix it!!! It wasn't broken. People like hits and physical play. If you don't there are other sports. You're like a broken record.

I can't believe I am about to do this (defend Crosby), but here goes :

That video montage is a joke. Who the phuck has that much free time? Sorting through hours of game tape and Youtube videos to put together a 6 minute video for the sole purpose of hating on a hockey player? Talk about not having a life. Maybe spend that amount of time making a positive video about something.

Secondly, the video was actually amusing until I heard Mike Milbury's face sphincter making noises. That guy has zero credibility. Terrible player. Terrible coach. Terrible GM. And just an all around terrible human being. But I won't spend my time making a video about how terrible he is.

Third, a lot of those clips are taken out of context, and by context I mean the entire game and what preceded those incidents. I cannot speak to each and every clip, but you can be assured that some of those whacks Sid gave were retaliatory. A person gets sick of getting whacked and poked, so they whack and poke back. A lot of those clips involved the Flyers - a team not exactly known for brotherly love and a team that has had it's share of dirty players (and still do).

Has Crosby engaged in some dirty behavior over the years? Yes. Has he taken some dives? Yes. Has his name/fame helped him avoid discipline or penalties for it? Probably. But Crosby is far from being a "dirty player". If you want to see "dirty" look no further than that little rat-faced punk Marchand or that overrated muldoon Neal.

If Crosby was a 4th line grinder, we wouldn't be hearing any of this.

I agree and as an outsider looking in it would be interesting to see some of the behind the scene plays before the ROR incident.Im sure there was a reason to the whack to the crotch. At the same time they have to start calling some of those plays to Sid and against before it gets to far out of hand.

Should have signed him to a regular contract instead of a tryout contract. The way things are going, we could use him in the top 6.
