And because its the NHL.....a phantom make up call for the Hawks (not complaining per se) but jeez.........does the officiating suck in the this league or what.

At least in the NHL, you don't see a defensive hold to make up for a offensive hold in the same series.

Hate to say this...

but kill the penalty.

The call on Kruger was an absolute joke, but why when Rasmussen is going to have a breakaway is Kruger even reaching and putting his stick under the Panther player's arm. Again, the guy took a blatant dive, but why even give the ref any opportunity of any kind to make that call. Not a real smart play on his part because it was something that simply made no sense to do.

I know it's a tough job with the speed of the game, but some of these refs are just brutal. And after giving the Panthers a two man advantage, which they scored twice on, who on this board wouldn't have bet there life that a phantom penalty call was coming up to the Panthers to somehow even things up in the ref's mind.
