Thanks JJ wow I was just asking a question whether the hawks would bring Latta up to add more depth and some help possibily with faceoffs, because kero and rass are winning so many at 40 to 45% is so awesome not saying latta would do better just another option.

How confident are we in being able to beat the Blues/Preds/Flames in a 7 game series without Anisimov?

Or we can ask Ron Karkovice if we can borrow the Cowardly Lion Courage Medal until Anisimov returns.

Don't want to diminish SnapIts comments because they're always good, but L_B_R's posts, while sometimes stat heavy, are always thoughtful and insightful as well.

Interesting piece by Craig Custance over at ESPN regarding which team each contender would like to avoid in round 1. For our boys he believes its the...........Calgary Flames. I didn't realize the tear they've been on since the Feb. Check it out........

I think Wiz has Casey Mittlestadt going 7th in this year's draft. Watch this tilt for free in a great HD feed.

Haha....Pittsburgh Islander OT was pretty entertaining Kessler with the retreating out of the o-zone on the 3 on 3 was cool.

Wish the Hawks would do that more.

Last nite in the OT - first, a minute of PP time - then almost 3 minutes with puck possession in the o-zone - and only 5 SAT (IIRC) - so much cycling/circling on the perimeter, no one going to the net with or without the puck....

Possession is critical 3x3 - but at some point you have to do more than maintain possession.

That won't work in the play-offs.

What? Not in the play-offs?

Never mind....

its possible: 5 pts separates 4 teams in the pacific but they would have drop below 3 teams to get the WC...don't see that happening...very interesting though 4 of their last 6 vs oil and flames...

I like schmaltz between 72 and 88 because Hartman plays his physical game better on the wing. That which he brings to the 3rd line spreads ye the threats across the lines more betterer. Thus balancing the attack and energy more compleaterer throughout the team thusly.

One memory to pull us through is remembering that the Hawks beat the Blues in 6 games in 2015 with Seabrook suspended for half the series. IIRC, we won all 3 games during his suspension after falling behind 0-2 to start the playoffs.

Wow Sharks are on a major slide!

Offseason: Trade Jurco for Johns. Get the UND band back together. Sharp/Oduya on 1 yr Soupy-type deals.

if you can get sharp on a 1 year nothing deal sure. go for it. I don't see it happening. He still produces when healthy. it was hard to deal him because of the cap but I don't see him coming back to play one season for peanuts.

Moose is slow but he can play. He makes smart decisions and has some stealthy moves. Just needs to use his size more effectively. Strength-training?
- kinigitt

Agree with you on this

He may look slow because he's big but when you watch him at ice level he moves from A to B as quickly as the next guy.

Plus he's a good penalty killer

My fourth line is Kruger Moose and Tootoo

Western Michigan lost to Air Force in the NCAA tourney last night. It will be interesting to see if the Hawks try to sign M. Iocopelli. Big kid. Had an excellent year. I saw him play live. He has a nose for the net. Plays his position well. He's older also so he might not want to go back to Western Michigan.
