Wheels have come off...no discipline.
Looking forward to Q's post game presser...I'm sure he'll be thrilled by what he's witnessing.

Depressing waste of time...

...on to Tampa.

Panik and in a scrum with 3 Panthers alone

Smaltz and whoever else was on the ice need to help out

Not impressed
Q will be giving these guys the WTF between periods

Poor discipline on Q as well. Hartmann should have sat the remainder of the period after those 2 bad penalties. Instead, he puts him out on the PP. Quenneville sending mixed message there. ....but that's Q !! Tootoo needs to play after his good games recently. I'm thinking that the Panthers
wouldn't be chopping wood all night if he were in there.

I know its the fastest game in the world and it maybe the hardest game to officiate but the fact that they miss the "obvious" calls is the most damning part to me. And then you don't have the balls to go to the bench and tell the coach, "hey coach, I missed it and I'm sorry" but instead you have a make up call to "even things out". If you screw up, you don't make it up that way.......do your job. And since you know you already missed a call or two (since you gave them a phantom PP), you call unsportsmanlike conduct penalties because you're an official and "I don't have to take that stuff."

Of course, all of that could have been avoided by admitting a mistake to defuse a situation in the first place. Damn, I miss the Kerry Frasier's of the game. He may have had little man's syndrome some days but I remember on multiple occasions he admitted he missed a call and told the coach that. (Used to have season tix in the Old Barn behind the Hawk's bench).

Three straight poor efforts, but funny to see Bruce Boudreau's annual Spring collapse come a few weeks early this year. Would be nice to get a point, but man Barkov and Huberdeau are ELITE young talents. Thought Q should've pulled Crow as a message to his team after the 3rd goal in 10 minutes....

I recall him crushing Huberdeau on the opening shift...

...but like most of the roster very quiet in the middle frame.

Crow looked shellshocked after that 3rd goal didn't he? I thought for sure he was gonna get pulled - and maybe he did too

Just to point out the obvious...

it's 3- ZIP after 2.

I'm more concerned with the lack of production and Reimer's ability to take a couple naps in the first 40.

They do seem to take a sleep walk against these basically eliminated (or actually toast) teams. Lousy teams like the Panthers, Nucks, Avs......thank goodness they aren't in the playoffs.

Penalties done them in.

At 5s, the Hawks are winning the possession battles - 26 SATs to 18 - even in the 2nd.

A 3 on 5 GA, another at the end of the PP.

And then of course, that 2 on 1.

Again - losing Anisimov screws up much of the top two lines - Schmaltz doesn't really help Kane and Panarin, especially at the net and getting the puck below the line; Hayden isn't doing as much as is needed with Toews and Panik, reacting too slowly to the puck....

Richard Panik feeding Mackenzie and had mercy on him bc the refs weren't breaking them up and Mackenzie was gassed and in a bad spot. I love that 14 brings it every night. 6-0 what a poop show.
