Would anyone agree that Krejci is not uninspired but constantly playing with a revolving door of players? Stafford is the new pet, Backes has been playing injured half the season, Cehlerik was a good 8 game run. He needs someone to consistently play with. I think if they keep Stafford with Krejci opposite Pastrnak they may develop some offense down the stretch. Last night's game was not on the offense, it was the D's and goaltending problem.

As a Tampa fan, I have watched the Bruins feast on the Bolts over the years. I think today's Bruins team is a pale shadow of the finely-oiled machine the Lightning faced in the 2011 playoffs. I think what strikes me the most is that the Bruins used to have two things in spades - a solid blueline and great depth. They could roll four lines on you all night long and each line was a threat. Now, the blueline is depleted and that depth is depleted. Rask is being hung on to dry on occasion and there is only so much he can do.

The 2011 Bruins would have scored that first goal and never looked back last night. They would have put the skates on Tampa's throat and the final score would have been 2-0 or 2-1.

No. You come in here to twist the knife like legions of female genitalia trolls all week. Piss off. Bruins weren't dominant in game 7. The Canucks (frank)ing quit.

what did they expect, they needed a top winger and solid d-man,
so they go out and signed another center. They got lucky with Carlo being ready, imagine how bad it'd be if he wasnt on the team?

Fired the coach. Still choked. Time for a leadership change. Time to ship out someone from this weak ass core. I nominate Krejci.

go back and read. I have been commenting on Bruins stuff for a long time and have been welcomed at every stage. Your beef is not with me, but with another poster who happens to follow the Canucks. I can't control other posters and their trolling posts, so please take it up with them. You engaging with a troll post is almost as bad as the troll post itself. Why do you bother wasting time with them?

To add to game 7. The Canucks outshot the Bruins, but the score was 4-0, The Canucks were defeated after Bergeron's goal, and despite the Canucks winning in shots for, the scoring chances were not even close. It was a dominant performance by the Bruins, and a 4-0 win in game 7 of a Stanley cup final warrants the "dominant" title. You need to relax man.

I wouldn't. He's the highest paid player on the team. He should make the players on his line better, when I think that Pasta carries that line when they are clicking. Get rid of him, get a winger, move Backes back to center.

Idk man. I like Backes as a winger. I do believe Krejci is overpaid, but I don't see a trade happening... and I'm not sure on the return we would get for him.

OK, well maybe as Ty was saying why didn't we see this coming, Hey I had already written off the Season I was in a good state of mind thinking towards next year and the coaching change happened. BANG. Maybe we will get some playoff hockey after all I mean they looked good right ? WTF. Ok everybody is jumping on Krejci and The non existent 2nd & 3rd lines which have been maddening, but a major HUGE glaring problem that happens night after night is Krug & Carlo turning the puck over and over again. Yes Krug will make a nice rush or two but F me he turns the puck over 10 times a game it's freaking horrendous. Yes Carlo is young but he had had PLENTY of ice time this year. SIT him the F down for a game, And yes Tuukka has to make one of those last 2 goals vs TB
I'm so freaking pissed WTF.

I agree 100%. Krejci is definitely over paid. Let's just get that out of the way. He's not the guy he was a few years ago but he's still a good 2C. I don't get why they gave up on Cehlarik so quick. Cehlarik Krejci Pasta was easily the most consistently dangerous 2nd line we've had all season.

I don't seem to notice the Krug turnovers as much as others. I feel like he definitely has a positive impact most nights. Totally agree with Carlo though. Kid has a future but he's been real bad some nights. I don't get why they haven't given Colin Miller more of a chance skating with Chara. Seems like a natural fit.

I'm pretty salty on Rask right now. Don't wanna hate on him too much, he probably has gotten worn out, but (frank) me he's gotta start making some saves. Sub .900 sv% since the new year. When's the last time he stole a game? Bobrovsky and Price are carrying average teams to possible division titles while Rask is floundering in crunch time. Not sure I'm buying "Rask is elite" anymore. If he were, B's would be comfortably in the playoffs

For sure. I don't remember how he said it, but Cassidy said they couldn't waste time on seeing if Cehlerik works out this late in the season. He has no goals so didn't produce.

I thought it was a stupid attitude since he had the effort, had a disallowed goal, and I believe Krejci and Pasta were producing.

I, for one, have been hoping for months that my Bruins would miss the playoffs. Cam Neely is one of the greatest players in NHL history. He is a garbage executive. I was a conductor on the Sweeney hate-train, but I have to say he may have turned a corner. He really impressed me at the draft and during the deadline by not mortgaging our VERY bright future just to potentially save his job this year.

Every single "fan" who yearns for their team to just make the playoffs is an idiot. Only two teams in the modern history of the NHL have won the Cup after being seeded 6th or lower entering the playoffs. Both times, it was the LA Kings. I'm so sick of hearing all these morons every year chanting the mantra, "All you have to do is make it in. Anything can happen." Well yes, if you are a Kings fan, by all means, beat that drum to death. Everyone else needs to shut the poop up!

I was a few years out of high school if that helps! Lol...

So I was happy with sitting Rask last night and it paid off. Wish that would have happened against Ottawa which would have made sense.

At this point I only want them to make the playoffs if they leapfrog Toronto or Ottawa. I don't feel like reliving the Holtby thrashing. Either win 5 or 6 of the next 7 to secure third in Atlantic, or lose 5 or 6 and hope Carolina, Tampa, Florida, etc. pass us and we get a top 10 pick. 9th in the conference for a third time in a row might make me murdorous.

I get that, but at this pointb their draftnspot wouldnt be that good, so making playoffs for entertainment value and experience for the youngsters wouldn't be that bad

sometime when I want to cry I think of happier times, like game 7 in 2011 against the Lightning.. (one of the best games I remember seeing IMO) and of coarse the 3 home games against Vancouver, after one of which someone from Vancouver actually tried to explain how the canucks outplayed the Bruins despite losing 4-0, and that oh so sweet game 7 that was never in doubt.

I also like to think of those green dancing guys... they make me smile too. are they still around, or did they give up that schtick? always wondered about that.
