...Typical Kings fan showing the entirety of his vocabulary. Here's some advice: Use your loooooong summer to advance your education.

My vocabulary is fine but if the shoe fits then wear it. And at least I'll have the pleasure of watching another quackers quit exit from the playoffs.

I think it's time you looked up the definition of "review" and "punishment". They are not mutually exclusive. They review a ton of plays in every game, 99% of the time, nothing comes of it.

As I said. I worded it poorly. But if you wanna argue semantics go for it. I have better things to do.

Last season was quick. But the season before the Ducks were in the Conference Finals. I'm not sure that's a quick exit by any measure.

Your vocabulary is trash. But I'm being unkind. I mean, why should we expect stupid people to know they're stupid?

Now, while you're hoping for the Ducks to exit early, your beloved team will be stuck on one playoff win in the last three years. That's not one playoff series. That's one playoff game won in three seasons. So while you chide us for a quick exit last season, your Kings were out before our Ducks were. Your local community college likely offers a logic course over your long summer. If you follow form, you'll start talking about attendance now.

Enjoy your offseason. If you yearn for some quality hockey, travel 30 miles south and hang a left. I'll be there waiting for you.

I have no issue with the Polak suspension at all.

I do, however, have an issue with the call on the ice since the referee clearly did not even see what took place. He had his head turned to his left and had an obvious delayed reaction to the hit. To call something a "game misconduct" when you didn't even see it is a little weird, isn't it?

I don't comment on these pages much but the hit by Risto was not as described a reckless hit. It was not. If you watch the play the only reason Guentzel didn't have the puck was because it was tipped. Risto pulled up on it when he saw it at the last second and turned away from the hit. The with Guentzel forward monument up and slightly out of control staking combined for the hit. Risto did not launch himself at his lower his shoulder, raise an elbow.Nothing in my opinion, it is just one of those play that can happen at this speed. Now Crosby stabbing O'Reily in the nuts in plain sight on purpose of course is exactly what the league doesn't care about for player safety.

Polak follows through on a hit where the other player turned away and into the boards. Players really need to stop doing this and just take the hit rather then risk major injury, but I digress. End result is a penalty and suspension that is consistent with the rules. Sid hacks an opponents hand off and nobody in the enforcement arm bats an eye. NHL rule-keeping at its finest.
