I've gotta say, I'm surprised he is that high.

You know what list he is tops on? Single handedly taking teams to the bottom of the standings.

He's 4th among LWs over the past 5 seasons.

Skinner aught to be right up there in goals, no?

What about with the Devils? I think in the case of Hall he is proving that correlation is causation.

8th in goals per Game among LW. 2014-2015 really hurt him.

6th in total goals among LW since he came into the league, though.

Have you seen their roster?

For some reason I don't think Hall is the problem there...

Hall played the majority of his career with a squad that had an abortion for a defence. The he was traded to another squad with a equally abortive defence.

Not saying Hall is a world beater, but the only time he has played with a competent blue line has been during international competitions and junior.

I figured as much. He'd be a 40 goal guy if paired with an elite center.

Just needs luck. He creates more individual scoring chances than anyone in the league. Moving Lindholm to C full time and letting those two play together should result in some nice totals for both.

Pfffffft. The guy is a bandaid. Made of glass. Your magical fantastical centerman would have to keep him healthy for 82 games for that to happen.

I have seen them both first hand. You don't want the second one. Worst smell I have ever experienced and I will never forget it.....not that death from cancer smells great, just not the same.

He's always been impressive when I've seen him play. Surprised you mentioned Lindholm though. He hasn't impressed me at all.

I was referring to Hall as a cancer you asshat.

Sadly I have seen the effects first hand far to many times.

I'll say this. Kovy/Parise/Langenbrunner/Palmieri all produced with Zajac.

I think a line of Hall-Zajac-Palmieri could work if they had any ability to move the puck up the ice from the D. Zajac isn't an ideal 1C, neither is Henrique for that matter but the defense is just flat out terrible.

He looks like he's finding another level of offense. Passed his previous career high of 39 points through a full season in just 61 games this year. If his game from pre-draft has carried over, he's likely still a very effective two-way guy, as well.

Lindholm's got 10 points in his last 9 games, including 4 goals.

Guy had a rough start to the season but he's been easily the Canes most noticeable forward since coming off his injury.

He's got a ton of skill and is starting to come into his own. Scoring at a 55 point pace over a full season.

I had fully expected him to be a 60+ point C by this point in his career. I'm glad to see his offensive game picking up but I must still admit to being somewhat underwhelmed by his progress thus far.
Now watch him put up 60+ next year and make me eat my words.

I notice he's even producing when shorthanded. Fair to assume that his defensive game is still a strength?

True enough. It doesn't help that your coach has implemented a system designed to cause nothing at all to happen at either end of the ice.
