Maybe it's more like an eye for an eye kind of thing. One cheap shot given to someone who is known for giving them.

Sid has been giving them out for a while now and has been on the receiving end as well...I don't think that's a coincidence.

But on a serious non smart ass sarcastic note. That's what I needed to be told when I was younger and had anger management issues that caused me to say terrible things like he is right now. I can't help it that it's brutal but it is the truth.

See that's exactly what I mean though Zac. I'm not even sure what "being so triggered" means. You have the terminology down. You should really look into a career, just saying.

Unfortunately the game is full of plays like Crosby's from last night.

Is it okay that this happens...hell no.

But what Sid did is no different than what almost all of the guys do today.

I'd say that if you watch the replay, Sid probably wasn't targeting the hand but rather the stick below it...and then Methot moves the puck and his hands come up/forward.

Again, doesn't mean Crosby is innocent here...he clearly meant to disrupt the play with a stick whack...but again...happens all game, every game.

If you told guys they couldn't do that anymore and enforced it, I am betting Crosby would be very happy about that.
