So what would you categorize blowing a team up? You have to ditch every player? No team could ever do that.

The Leafs have Bozak, Kadri and JVR up front and Rielly and Gardiner in back. That's it.

So in other words. Their current 1B and 1C centers, top LW and two of their top Defensemen. As well as Komarov who is another vital piece to the puzzle for them.

My point is, many are griping that the Flyers are retooling and not rebuilding. So is the threshold between retooling and blowing it up 2-3 players? Regardless of the roles they're playing.

thats actually my biggest issue with the PEB/CVV pairing. PEB has just not been good at faceoffs. Winning some damn faceoffs helps the kill quite a bit

Imagine if Hakstol had bungled a penalty situation the way Babcock (a top-5 coach) did last night.

Wiese and Manning aren't talking to the media.

I'd rather hear from the peanut vendor, and the WFC plumber.

But in all honesty, its frustrating, but this is kinda what was to be expected with build from within approach.

I understand there are somethings that drive people nuts (like TK to the 4th line), but patience is needed for the majority of the problems.

I'm very patient in the approach but a get twitches from some of Hakstol's player personnel decisions. TK on the 4th line makes me nuts. the way he handles the goalies makes me nuts. Manning in and instead of Schultz out, MDZ is out makes me nuts

They can gripe all they want but if your team is near the bottom of the league and you aren't significantly turning over your roster you're doing something wrong.

It's illogical to dump all of your players when they have value to the team. You move as much as you can and you bring in new players and adjust your roster.

My problem with the Flyers would be that they aren't turning over enough of the roster.What the Leafs did to the Marlies in one season has taken the Flyers three. They seem to be clinging to role players like they can't be replaced and have invested fairly heavily in core players that can't find a way to win.

Look at the amount of Salary the Leafs had to eat to dig themselves out. They did it and it gutted the team into a last place finish but they did it all at once.

The Flyers will be doing the same thing but we're slowly pulling off band aids down here and it's feeling more like the Burke era Leafs than anything else. None of us want to slog through a decade like Leafs fans did.

See these are all valid things to be upset with. Aside from that, the whole "this team needs to be blown up" or "there isnt a single good player" shtick gets tiring. We are two years away from having a lineup that features this group:

Forwards: G, Jake, Simmer, Couts, Schenn, Laughton (?), Lindblom, Rubtsov, Cousins (?)

Defense: Provy, Ghost, Sanheim, Myers, Morin, Hagg, Gudas....

It's because they have a top 5 coach. Just ask PLind.
